The converter fan should cycle on and off as much as needed. IS everything working OK???

IF so and the converter fan just stays running I would have the battery(s) load tested, the reason being if they were weak the converter would work extra hard to keep the charge on the batteries and the fan would run all the time. Most auto parts stores can load test the batteries to see if they are OK.

Another reason for the fan to run all the time is if the air flow was obstructed, I would get an air hose and nozzle and blow out the converter section really good. Sometimes these are in areas where there is not much air flow, if it was very dirty it can choke the converter off and cause the fan to run all the time...
