Customer Question
All oil leaking from...

All oil leaking from left front wheel of 98 Safari 40 ft diesel. Should there be some kind of seal behind the rubber stopper.

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you ever replaced the gaskets? Maybe the hoses?

NO This is leaking from the wheel hub resivor

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Safari yourself? What have you tried so far?

Theres nothing to stop the oil from coming out. Shop wants $375 to just look at it

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Is there suppose a glass or something inside the rubber stopper

There should be a glass or plastic "window" in there. Can you attach a photo of that to your post so I can see it? Use the paperclip icon.
