I would like to know where the fuse is for the water heater

Customer Question

I would like to know where the fuse is for the water heater on a 2005 Fleetwood rv
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Do you know what they look like?
Customer: below the refrigerator?
JA: Are you fixing your Fleetwood yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Trying to get the heater to light
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hi! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with this. I may need some additional information from you first in order to give a complete answer.

It depends on the make and model of your water heater. All should have a master fuse in the load center where all your fuses and breakers are. Atwood models have one on the control board and a thermal fuse on the incoming brown lead to the control board. If you have a small digital multimeter or 12 VDC test light this is easy to resolve. I can direct you in this. If you give me the make and model I can supply a manual and direct you in the solution here. All follow ups are included in our fee.

I need the make and model of the water heater. I have no way of knowing if they installed an Atwood or a Suburban water heater. They used both.

When I realized there was a charge for talking to you I quit.

Not sure why you would think we work for free? And that charge is way cheaper than a trip to the shop or a visit from a mobile tech. One reason why our site is so popular. Sorry that didn't work out for you.
