JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: Our ceiling lights
JA: What is the model/year of your RV?
Customer: 2013 jay I jay flight
JA: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just plugged it into my truck and recharge the battery and it is good for a while, but going dim again this evening
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

A​re you plugged into shore power or not?

How old is the battery? Most batteries that are 3 years old are failing.

It may be just a converter not charging. If you have a small multimeter we can do some testing and find out. About $20 or so at most hardware stores and easy to use. I can direct you in some testing. The converter should be putting out about 13.7 VDC to the battery. All follow ups are included in our fee. No time limit.
