I have one rv jack that won't go up. I did check the fluid and it is low.

Customer: Have tried to pry up won't budge
JA: What's the make/model/year of your RV?
Customer: 1991 rexhall
JA: What is the model of your '91 RV?
Customer: Rexhall
JA: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I would like to fix it myself. I have tried to pry it up. I tried to spray it. It will retrack in till the tire has pressure on it then it stops.
JA: Is the tire cold or warm? And are you using a decent pressure guage for the reading?
Customer: What am I suppose to check the tire ?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Check to see if anything with the jack is damaged or bent causing it not to fully retract or the rod is scored, rusted or pitted. Also look for damage to the cylinder such as a bent rod. If okay let me know if you topped the fluid and it is not over full not having enough air space in the reservoir. Try extending again and inspecting for damage and retract again. Let me know
