I have a 2002 lapalma on a workhorse chasis the turn signals

Customer Question

I have a 2002 lapalma on a workhorse chasis the turn signals work but the flashers don't. Replaced the 262 flasher with a 232 flasher and it still doesn't work. Is there a fuse and where is it? or is the 232 not suitable to replace the 262?
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Do you know what they look like?
Customer: There are fuses right next to the steering wheel.
JA: What is the model of your '02 RV?
Customer: Monaco Lapalma 34sbd
JA: Are you fixing your Monaco yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Changed the relay
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Hi! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with this. I may need some additional information from you first in order to give a complete answer.

The 232 relay is only rated for 20 amps and the 262 version is rated at 25 amps, but that probably won't keep them from working. More than likely the problem is in the switch or the wiring to it. You would need to do some testing into and out of the switch or bypass it to see for sure. Use a 12 VDC test light and perhaps get a new one so you can see how it is wired up. Not expensive in most cases. Hope that proves helpful here. Please get back to me later if you need additional input from me on this as all follow ups are included in our fee.
