Customer: Checked all of the switches but do not want to drive it like this

Is this a Kwikee/Power Gear model? The most common problem with it not closing is a dirty ground or door switch that has gotten bumped and isn't aligned properly. Those and a battery that is low on voltage or failing. To manually close it you would have to pull the pin out on the control arm and then you have no way (except for wiring it up) to keep it up. Best to solve this if you can. If you have a small digital multimeter we can do some testing once I know which model you have. About $20 or so and easy to use and available at most hardware stores. All follow ups here are included in our fee and fully expected.

We found the problem while I was cleaning out the compartment next to the steps I must have knocked a wire loose. Just tightened the wire steps now work
