Acquired 87 Lesharo winnebago. Had to pull it home when itt

Customer Question

Acquired 87 Lesharo winnebago. Had to pull it home when itt ran hot. Temperature gauge didn't register anything. Dug into history. Has had two relay switches, thermostat replaced 2016. Motor temp gauge replaced in 2013. Fans are not running but will when hot wired. What's the problem? I am not a mechanic but have one to work on it.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Has the car been starting normally?
Customer: 83,000. Started ok. Has been used very little, bought from little old lady. I did not know if I should exchange the relays and thermo switch (2013).
JA: What is the model of your '87 RV?
Customer: WR220PD?
JA: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Took thermostat off and it is working. Replaced 2 hoses. Bypassed fan circuits and they work. Put water in radiator and motorblock but no movement of water. I have a mechanic who is going to help me when I gets what I need.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Generator not working. Hard to get to it. Also battery for it I think is underside of drivers side.
