How hard would it be to change my old dual fuel tanks to one

Customer Question

how hard would it be to change my old dual fuel tanks to one new tank? im having fuel issues.
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: no its a 1977 dodge 440. it wont take gas at times when fueling. It starts and runs fine. It seems like it runs out of gas but still has gas in it. We have replaced the fuel pump and the diaphram.
JA: What is the model of your '77 RV?
Customer: Dodge Executive 32 foot.
JA: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No, we are not blessed with mechanical skills.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: And we are having a hard time finding any mechanics to work on it. I would like to list everything else that we have done just so he has a clear picture.

Sorry the window closed. We are having trouble finding a mechanic in our area to work on it. We live in Bristol, Va. We have been having a hard time trying to get it to take gas at the pump. We have changed the fuel pump and the diaphragm. Also not sure if the switch works for changing between tanks. We have done all the other precautionary mechanical stuff, hoses, belts etc.
