Can you see if there are any score marks on the shaft? All the way down or only partially?

HWH jacks?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
The jack is in the up position, so I can't tell if it's got any score marks or damage. This jack was always slower coming up, The other 3 took mybe 3 to 5 min. This one I had to at times help the lift with a 2 x4 or small jack.

Are these HWH jacks? This can be from a damaged shaft or a bad solenoid.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
they are HWH Jacks

They sell jacks on an exchange basis. I would take a close look the next time you put them down and see if you see any heavy scratches on the shaft. That is an indicator of something in the bearing suface. If you see none then it may be a bad solenoid on that jack.

Just checking back in to see if you were able to resolve this issue or do you still need some additional input from me here?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Sorry, but I haven't had time to check the leg. It's in the up position and I need to figure out how to get it down before I can look at it. I'll get back to you ASAP

I have yet to have the time to try and lower the cylinder to see if it's scored or damaged. Will try this weekend.
