When on battery power, interior lights work, but not

Customer Question

When on battery power, interior lights work, but not outlets. Brake/turn lights don't work also
JA: Have you checked the vehicle's manual for this? What is the model/year of your RV?
Customer: Rockwood Freedom 1642LTD
JA: What year is your LTD?
Customer: 1640 2004
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: On shore power outlets and lights work. Didn't try the brake/blinker lights when plugged in. I have changed the battery and fuse.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: That's it.

The outlets won't work on DC, but only on AC power off the generator or shore cord. Brake and blinkers usually are working when the unit is in motion. Maybe nothing is wrong here. Or am I not understanding the question?
