I have a 5.9 cummings 2000 model in my motorhome and the air

I have a 5.9 cummings 2000 model in my motorhome and the air pump made noise for about 10 miles, then quit making the noise, but the air pump gauge on dash started going from 95lbs. to 115lbs. Just back and forth. what would you think the problem is.

I will help you with this

what you are describing is a failing air governor, replace that

it is mounted to side of compressor,2 7/16" bolts, and a small air line

can get it at any truck/auto parts store $15.-20.00
