Have a triton v10 engine, just lost the ability to accelerate at all
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the fuel filters?
Customer: Apparently we sucked up a bird ... Not sure if that's the issue :(
JA: What is the model/year of your RV?
Customer: 2007 Mirada only has 30k miles
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Husband looking at it now. Yes we are hoping to. Turning it off and restarting it . He looked at it other than the small bird nothing looks amise
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: A wrench came up on dash it's like it's on safety mode no throttle response

Hi. WHen the wrench light comes on it means that there is a problem with the electronic throttle body of the engine. The throttle bodies are common on their own to need replacing. But I would disconnect the air intake hose to the throttle body and inspect to make sure nothing got sucked up. You also want to make sure the air filter and mass air flow sensor (which is located after the air filter in the air intake tube) is clean and has no debris on it. If all that visually looks good you likely need a new throttle body.
