In the 2001 Southwind, is the smoke detector tied in electrically to the 110_volt coach a eletrical system, and can it shut down the electrical if triggered?

Hi my name is Robert....

Normally the detector would be wired into the DC side and would not trigger the electrical system to shut down, what is the issue you are having? Are you missing all the AC power when you are plugged in? Have you tried running the generator?
