Customer Question

I own a 2005 Georgie Boy Cruise Master LE. I am having an issue with the slide outs.
The front slide out is working fine, however the two back bedroom slide outs act as though they aren't getting enough power. They will go out a little bit but eventually stop and don't go out all the way. The same for when you try to bring them back in.
I initially thought that the problem may be that the motorhome batteries need to be replaced. But since the front slide out works I am not sure that is the problem.
Does the front slide out work off of a different battery than the back slide outs?

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question had not received a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.My info is somewhat limited on your model here but I had seen no one else has responded and would like to see if I can help here.If at any time you feel that I cannot help with this please let me know.

Most models use separate motors to run the slides from the front slides to the back slides and if the front is working properly but the back is slow or isnt working as it should this can indicate the rear motor is weak itself needing replaced.I have seen the slide motors fail in the past before needing replaced for issues like this here.I would have this tested further to be sure this is the cause here before having it replaced.

If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service. You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with.

Thanks Pete
