I have a new 2016 Jayco Pinnacle. If I plug in to shore

I have a new 2016 Jayco Pinnacle. If I plug in to shore power I get no power in the unit, if I start the generator I get power. What's up??

That is usually a problem with the automatic transfer switch OR the power source. Check that first and be sure that there IS good power OUT of the receptacle. IF so, then testing the transfer switch would be the next thing. IF you aren't getting good power INTO that and the source is good, then the plug or cord is suspect.
