Have analog controller, domestic air conditioner, suburban

Customer Question

Have analog controller, domestic air conditioner, suburban propane furnace. Have two molded pair wires that I don't know where to connect them or wires from controller to these two mold pair wires. One molded pair is a white wire the other a violet with white stripe. The other molded pair wires is one white wire and the other is blue with white stripe. Maybe t-stat wires to these molded pairs?

It sounds like those are the positive and negative pairs. Take a small digital multimeter and test them. The plain white should be the negative. The stripped wires should be the positive. Were these controls all disconnected?
