Verifiedhi my name is ***** ***** have the make and model of the furnace? On many all you have to do is turn the LP on at the tank, turn the the thermostat ON, select furnace and then raise the temp, when you turn the thermostat ON you should hear a fan come on, shortly after that the electrode should start sparking.It is possible you have a pilot model but they are found in much older units... OK Not all furnaces have an outside access panel, really bad design if you ask me, if you just have the exhaust port and no panel you will have to try to get to the back of the furnace through the side you might be able to get to the circuit board. I have seen some where there is no access on the outside the entire furnace has to be pulled, hopefully that is not the case... Robert
