Customer Question

I have a 2006 Monaco Cayman with 300HP Cummins engine. Suddenly the engine temperature gauge went to zero (no reading). After a while the gauge returned to normal functioning. This intermittent functioning lasted for 200 miles. the trip ended with the gauge working normally. Coolant level is normal and no warning lights on dash. What is the problem?

good morning my name is ***** ***** I will assist from your description, it sounds like your temperature sender unit on the motor is not working correctly. I would check the connector and if there is no damage to the connector and pins, replace the sender unit. Roy
