Customer Question

We have lost all lights on our 1998 Winnebago Chieftain. We have headlights, but have lost dash lights, we have no exterior lights. All were working fine three days ago. What could have gone wrong? All fuses appear to be ok.

When you say "no exterior lights" what do you refer to here? IF you are talking about parking lights, then chances are pretty good that this problem is a bad light switch that is allowing the headlights to work, but not the dash lights or parking lights. those come on at the same switch. IF they used a Bosch style relay for those as a separate circuit, then the relay may be bad. I would contact Fleetwood Customer Service at the link below and find out if they can still provided you with a complete set of wiring diagrams for this coach. Those are extremely helpful here! Be prepared to give them your FIN number. Once you have some diagrams, this may be easier to track down with a small digital multimeter or 12 VDC test light. I can assist you in that.
