8900 series AC in a park model home, starts and works

Customer Question

8900 series AC in a park model home, starts and works intermittently. almost always starts on first start, of cold weather, but then during the night when it tries to start to the thermostat, it just "snaps" in a rapid succession and doesn't ignite. tries a couple of times, with the same rapid succession of "snaps" and then quits trying. where do I start? is the valve not opening?

Have you checked and adjusted the LP pressure at the tank regulator? Poor ignition is often caused by LP pressure that is too low. I would start there and see what happens. Please get back to me if you need more as all follow ups are included in our fee.
