My dash a/c went out suddenly when i t a bump with my 2002

Customer Question

My dash a/c went out suddenly when i hit a bump with my 2002 Allegro workhorse. I changed the compressor relay but that didn't do it. What else should I check?

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

check the connections on the compressor clutch,

and the 2 switches on the firewall on the receiver tank and on the line

Wayne, I can't read your answer after "and on the line"... Help me out.

I can't find the receiver tank, either. It must be under the dash and I can't figure out how to get under there.

Found the tank, but no switch
Expert:  Wayne replied 2 years ago.
there is one in the line that goes to the tank
also did you check the plug on the clutch

Wayne, I'm sorry. This has happened while I'm rushing from my home in Florida back to Acadia NP to bring back my car and motorhome and then to Michigan to pick up our dog and then back to Florida to be with my wife who suffered a major stroke while I was working as a ranger in Acadia. I've been sleeping in rest areas and driving like crazy. It's a pain that I can't figure out the A/C, but I've got other things on my mind. I'm in Georgia tonight and maybe I can get to it later in the week.

Geez, thanks very much, Wayne. That was really very good of you, and more then I would have expected. Give me a couple of days to get back to this, because driving through S. Carolina, and Tennessee and Kentucky got pretty darned hot today. Thanks again.

Wayne, the dust has finally settled a little here. Let me catch you up; I was in Michigan when the a/c went out. I continued down the road to get back to Fort Myers. Outside of Bradenton I threw the fan belt and had to get a tow. When I picked it up a couple days later, one of the mechanics had chased down the a/c wiring and said it was the blower motor. Does that make sense to you with what I've told you? It does to me, but you're the expert. So, how I find the blower motor in a 2002 Tiffin Allegro?
Expert:  Wayne replied 2 years ago.

rather then the blower motor

I would say the plug came loose from there

or the resistor plug,

this is a big ordeal to get to

not sure on yours if it comes out from firewall

or from under dash, but I would think under dash

hope this helps
