I have a new 5th wheel with a DM2852LBFX refrigerator. We camp a lot in remote areas with just battery power, and this has a fan that seems to run about all of the time.
- Is it okat to take out the in-line fuse and shut the fan off? Will it still work ok on electric (120) or propane?

Hi, the fan is used to help dissipate the heat from the cooling unit, you can defeat the fan without shutting off the refer, and it will operate on propane or electric. Keep an eye on the temp inside the box, as if it begins to rise, turn the fan back on....
