My name is ***** ***** I will assist you. Can I get the full VIN of this vehicle so I can pull up the wiring diagram to see how the circuit runs on this vehicle? What all did the mechanic check? I'm presuming the basics like the lights, grounds, flasher relay, fuse, and multi-function switch?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Hello Jeremy
Vin 4uz6xjca3ycg19846
This mechanic didn't do all those things
We don't know what the multi switch is
He did find four relays is the back by the motor. Didn't check each for proper function
I have no stop or signal lights on rear of coach. When I turn on emergency flashers on the four relays in rear sound like flashers
If one of these is bad would it shut down all these lights?
All the fuses that I could find are ok
Thanks for your help

Hi Amos,So the multi switch is just the turnsignal switch in the cab you use to turn the signals on and off.I don't know off hand which relay it is but I would replace all 4 of those relays. They're not expensive and one of them does control brake/turn lights.

The turn lights on front work ok
I will replace the relays as you suggested
Will get back to you

Sounds good.If the relays don't work change the bulbs.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Hello Jeremy
I am in a small town and could only get three of the relays. I have rotated the other two to no avail
Any new ideas
Expert:  keysync replied 2 years ago.
have you tried changing the bulbs.Turn and brake are both using the same element on the bulbs.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Bulbs are good
Not getting any electrical feed to bulb seats have tested everything I can think of
Separated two harness connections an made sure they are ok
With flasher on I get juice to the red and green wire at one of the relays
Expert:  keysync replied 2 years ago.
Ok, since you're getting power to the relay with the flasher on just try and jumper power directly to the wire that will feed the lights to see if your issue is a ground for the relay. You will need power at either 85 or 86 and ground on either 85 or 86 if that makes sense. One will be power one will be ground. It doesnt' matter which one is what. When that happens your relay should engage and send power from 87 to 87A.So try putting power to 87A and see if that lights up your lights.

One of the trailer studs get juice with flasher on
No juice to any of the six lights on coach
Evidently not something simple
Is there a diode or something causing this in line somewhere
The middle small brake light high on coach works
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
There is no wires going to 87a location
Has 87
I used power from 86 to all other wires nothing happenenuntil I hit a white wire that may be a ground
