I have a 2000 190 model on a Dodge chassis.

Customer Question

I have a 2000 190 model on a Dodge chassis. The wires on the AC sensor were gnawed away by a mouse. The sensor is obsolete and not available anymore says Dodge. My Dodge dealer has looked all over the Internet and at places like car quest, Napa etc. can you help me? Mona xxxxxxxx . Wisconsin USA

Good morning my name is***** am going to try and help you figure this out. First I need to know more about the part you are looking for so I'm writing you for more information such as the location of the sensor, the part number, a picture, detailed description, number of wires and so forth. Are we talking about the chassis dashboard air conditioner? If so I see there are two pressure sensor located in the hoses/lines and I also see a freeze sensor, also known as an A/C cycling switch which looks like a little black box with a nail sticking out of it with a small 3-wire pigtail and a plug.I'm a bit worried that I am not looking for the right item because this A/C cycling switch is readily available such as the one linked below on Have a look:

The vehicle is at the dealer right now. I can get that info later today. It's the chassis vehicle air conditioner. It's the cycling switch and it has three wires. I believe blue white and black. I will check for sure and get back to you later today. I have the part number off it but a friend who was trying to help has it at their house right now. I'll also check the Amazon link you forwarded to me.
