Customer: Just bought a 2007 Starcraft Centennial 3608 Pop-up camper. It has a three way powered refrig. I attempted to turn it on in the 110AC mode. The green power light came on and I set the temp at the lowest level. It never began to cool. Went to the outside and looked at the unit and all the pipes, coil and what think was the compressor were very warm. One pipe was too hot to even touch. I immediately turned the unit off. What do you think the problem might be?

Hi my name is***** you tired running it on LP? IF it is not cooling on both AC power and LP then it could be the cooling unit. The flue canister will get very hot to the touch, the absorber coils on the back should feel warm from top to bottom, no cool spots or very hot areas. A RV fridge does not have a compressor... IF you can get me the make and model number of the fridge I should be able to send you some troubleshooting.... Also if you smell ammonia, see a yellowish powder on the back of the fridge or hear a gurgle when you turn it on please let me know..... Robert
