spankyjr1 : Hi and welcome to Just answer
spankyjr1 : Did You just purchase this RV?
<span class="JA_chatAuthorName"Customer:
Yes
spankyjr1 : It sounds like the same problem I had when I bought mine,in 2003 they were analog TV's and since then they changed signal To digital,so you must by a converter or change TVs The good news is the vcr should work
spankyjr1 : The antenna should be fine I researched them and they installed both digital and analog into them so the rest of the system should still be fine

If it is as simple as buying a converter, I wonder why the local technician did not suggest that. He seemed quite knowledgeable otherwise. Is a converter needed for local channels which you get by antenna? I'll try the VCR and contact COMCAST to ask about a converter. How does a converter work in various campgrounds with cable from various providers?
spankyjr1 : It will handle everything and is installed before your router,so everything after the box will be back to analog so tv's will work.
spankyjr1 : I don't know why he probably forgot about the signal change

My local cable provider is COMCAST. Will they sell me a converter or can I go elsewhere to by one and install it myself or have someone else do it?
spankyjr1 : Any local place like best buy is probably cheapest or ebay yes you can do this yourself directions come with it
spankyjr1 : It will work with comcast
