I have a Suburban SF-35 furnace in my 2011 Heartland Bighorn 5r. When calling for heat, the fan runs for about 15 seconds, then the gas ignites. At that point, a very loud, low pitched noise happens for about 3 seconds as the burner ignites, and then goes away. The heater seems to operate just fine, with the exception of the very loud noise at furnace startup. I have already replaced the propane regulator due to another problem (wouldn't switch tanks on empty). Any idea what could be causing that?

Hi, The loud resonating sound is from the combustion camber. You need to start by blowing out the combustion camber with an air hose you make sure there is no obstruction in the air ways
If the sound is from the combustion chamber, why does it go away a few seconds after ignition?
Well, I tried blowing out the combustion chamber, and it did not help at all.
Hi, What is the make and model number of the furnace?
Suburban SF-35
Can you see any thing in the exhaust & intake vent outside? Well you may have to take the heater out and remove the burner, open up the intake fan housing an clean.
Can't see anything in the vent outside. I guess I'll have to try removing the furnace, and taking it apart - yuk!!
Thanks for your help.
