we have a 28 BH camper with aq large slide. Last time we used…

we have a 28' BH...

we have a 28' BH camper with aq large slide. Last time we used the slide, it hit the floor and broke the wood out of the front of the kitchen counter. I just finished rebuilding the front of the counter and brought the bottom of it up 1/2'. I just tried the slide again and its still hitting the floor. I can hold it up by the counter and get it slid in. Is there an adjustment on the slide to raise it up off the floor?

Thank you for using Just Answer, I will quickly, and methodicly work through your repair needs.......Thank you.........Michael, hi the adjustments on the slide are under the slide at the front when its opened,,,,,,the slide is no more than a box the slides from the bottom with the mechinism............and the only adjustments are up and down...........................these adjustments need to be made to create a 'happy medium' as up brings the bottom out, and the top in,,,,,,,and visa versa,,,,,,,,,,when you adjust the slide,,,,,,,,,use a tape measure,,,,,,,and try to do the same adjustments on both sides if the unit has two arms .............................I'm here to help you thru this.................thanks.........Michael

can i adjust it so the sink counter won't hit the the floor while sliding in or out

where do you make the adjustment at? I looked under the slide and didn't see anything

look where the arms are attatched to the side of the room, there should be slotted bolt holes that allow the brackets to be moved and adjusted...............Hmmmmmmmmmm

ok I found them. do I go up or down with them to keep the counter from hitting the floor ( Do they raise the front or the back)

I have never messed with something like this, it is all foriegn to me. I found them under the sink (after I removed a panel and found the other one under the couch after aai removed the front part of the couch) you could have been alittle more specific on where they were and also I just guessed on how to adjust them. I used a pry bar to lift the left side up, theres surley got to be a better way. I still don't know how to lower the right one so they will be even. this is the kind of stuff you could have explained. I am ready to give you a better rating, as you did help a little, but I can't find where to change the rating system.
