I have a refrig in my trailer the freezer works great but the lower unit will not get cool ---New unit

What is the make and model of your fridge? The data tag should be on the inside of the box.

Is the fridge level? Are you using AC mode or LP mode?

If it was out of level..........which should never be done as it can do some serious damage to the cooling unit.......let it sit for about 4 hours and then turn it back on again. And yes, you can use it while you are towing it. The up and down keeps the fluid from causing a blockage. They are supposed to check the LP pressure at the tank regulator as a part of predelivery, but many places don't. This is supposed to be checked at least once a year. Low LP pressure can cause poor cooling on the fridge. The fridge can take up to 6-8 hours to cool down from initial setup once it has been off for some time. These aren't like your house fridge.........no moving parts and wholly done with heat and chemicals. If you don't have a manual let me know and I can supply one for you.
