Sometimes when you can see the carpet on the outside you can just pull it out. The problem comes in if it is still secured to the floor from the inside. I would run the room out and get a flat bar that is thin and see if you can work the carpet free while someone on the outside pulls on the carpet. Also sometimes what you can do is run the room out and jack up on the slide room and this will raise it far enough to get to the carpet. In the shop we use a transmission jack and blocks of wood to jack up on the room, you may have to make something to get that room to come up, it will not take much. I first would see if you can get something under the dinette and work that carpet free.Once you get a few inches of carpet free it should come out. Hope this helps some.... Robert
