Hi There!!
Thanks for Choosing Just Answer....
This most likely is the area the water is coming in, but you want to do a rain test to confirm. You can spray that area and simulate rain with a garden hose and a second person. One person spraying and one person watching inside. At the shop we use a tripod with the garden hose hooked to it so it is a one person job.
The fix would be try to get that seal to lay correctly, what you might try is to cut the seal in the corner on a 45 degree angle and then glue the two pieces together so they over lap. It could also be the seal needs to be replaced. I would also clean the best you can on top of the slide room as this might also help with the seal working correctly. I would first try and duplicate the problem and then, clean the slide room top and then try to look at the corners where the side and top meet. Normally I will use crazy glue or clear loc tite to glue the corners. I will say water leaks in the slide room can be tricky and once you pin it down you may have to get creative. An example would be if you can see daylight from inside you can get some clear silicone and add a dam to the slide room so the water will not come in. This would be behind the seal and not seen. Also make sure any hardware is sealed up, such as awning brackets, screws etc...
Hope this gives you some ideas, Have a Safe and Happy Holidays, Robert
