The jacks on our motorcoach will not retract, the light shows low voltage...we had engine running and batteries appear

OK.... Low voltage will cause the jacks and the room not to operate correctly. I would verify at the battery with a voltmeter the voltage is good, at 1500 RPMS you should see over 14 volts at the chassis battery. Check all the connections at the battery and make sure they are tight and free of corrosion, if the low voltage is coming on and the voltage at the batteries is good it could be a connection issue. IF you tell me the manufacturer of the jacks and if they are hydraulic or electric I might be able to help you more. Also verify that the parking brake is set. Hope this helps.

The low voltage light is indicating a voltage problem which we have established. I would be looking at the pump manifold area for any loose connections, what is baffling is the slide room will also not operate, this tells me that you might have had a wire harness that has rubbed or loose and in an RV this is very difficult to find. You could try and shut the chassis dis-connect off for a few mins to see if that helps any. I would also inspect all the connections in the chassis fuse box. HERE is the manual for that pad, although it may not help much. It sounds like a faulty connection which can be difficult to find.... Hope this helps some...
