I own a 08 REcon 36V Toy hauler..., I am trying to leave my campsite and only one of the 2 from stabalizers legs will

Customer: I own a 08 REcon 36V Toy hauler..., I am trying to leave my campsite and only one of the 2 from stabalizers legs will lift. When I engage the electrical system all I hear a clicking sound and nothing happens. I have tried the manual crank and it only spins..., any advice so I can get back to work? Thanks

Hi, this is Michael, are we talking about the landing gear on the Gear Box, a fifth wheel?

Hi Michael,

Yes it's the landing gear. I have looked all around the unit for an access point but have yet to find any possible way of getting into actually look at it.

All I can see is having to cut through the metal (appears to be galvanised)..., or cutting the damn leg off (kidding).

Thanks for responding. The assy uses a drive leg and driven leg. Meaning one leg has the motor on it, and a rod spins to the opposite side. If the gears are stripped at the top of the leg, you will need to remove it, and replace the gears, if the drive leg works, and the rod that turns the driven leg is fouled, you can most likely do something about the failure by seeing if a bolt has sheared or similiar failure. But unfortunatly if the motor works, the leg will most likely have to be removed to be repaired. A floor jack will alllow you to get the unit back onto your truck.................Michael
