Hi There!

Thanks for Choosing Just Answer!

Are you referring to the sealant like on the roof?

Customer: replied 9 years ago.
No, I'm referring to the decorative strips that go around the body. Mine are cracked and faded.

What kind of coach, year make and model, I will look at a picture and see what you are dealing with.

It is a Class "C" 20 ft. Made by Eldorado Motor Coach Co. that is no longer in business.

I did look at a picture of an older Class C it had one big stripe in the center and a couple smaller ones on Top. This to me looks like it is going to be a time consuming job. I would first try to use a heat gun and try peeling or scraping it off. Allot of times a heat gun will break down the glue or get it soft so it would be easier to come off. Now if you are noticing it is coming off but leaving a film behind you can get some adhesive cleaner and this should break the glue down even more. If it that will not work you may have to mask all your stripes with tape and use a razor knife and straight edge to go around the stripes, then try to scrape them off with a putty knife. There could be allot of work if the stripes come off and leave the film behind, it takes time to scrape all the glue residue. I would experiment in a small area first.
