Hoping to obtain some infornation about the following: What are some practices that can help a couple, aged 18 and 20, who have been in a relationship for 3 years, cultivate a stronger bond and love for each other? Additionally, what practices can help the couple better understand how to communicate their needs to each other, and how can they effectively communicate the importance of addressing those needs in a timely manner for the relationship to continue to thrive?

She’s not so much feeling the hurt but I’m sure she is. Right now just noticing that she has said over and over certain things she needs from him and he never did do them. For example more affection. And has noticed now that without so much choosing to, found that she has become significantly less affectionate. And that doesn’t make her feel good. Not how she wants it to be. For one example. And a few things on this topic are making her think of something doesn’t change and communication isn’t able to be understood and creating the change for needs to be met then the relationship may not make it, which is also heartbreaking. Looking for the steps to a solution if it’s possible between them:)Also one another specific issue, not sticking up for her to family members when they speak disrespectfully ***** ***** indirectly, and sometimes straight forward. But definitely inappropriate and unacceptable. I’m her eyes only in some situations but other more obvious that it is.?

Based on the Above it’s seems more like a general information, to strengthen the bond it’s very important to respect each other and understand each others perspective. Allow some space to each other and communicate as much as possible. Every time there are issues talk about them rather keeping them within. It’s better to be honest and speak in a gentle tone. Try relationship therapy for learning all these steps for a healthy relationship and to strengthen the bond. He needs to help her out and invest more time to understand her feelings. He obviously needs to stand for her. I believe looking at the intensity of the situation you need to convince them for relationship counselling rather getting involved without being trained professionally to handle the situation. I hope that’s making sense. It anything is unclear please do let me know.
