I’m scared it felt...

I’m scared it felt like a living entity was trying to kill me in my dream I feel like if I close my eyes again they won’t hesitate to finish trying to kill me

I fell asleep frustrated about school work and my mental health but then woke up at 3 and stayed up till 4:30 reading then shower then at 6:22 I went back to sleep woke up to my 6:40 alarm

Their is a man I see in my dreams I said hi to him excited because he was their twice already it was like our dream base we both walked out as in?

Oh no I just realized I literally watched someone’s execution in my dream I try not to see that stuff I couldn’t control my dream when we realized someone was wrong and a person was killed we woke up and was in our bed

Hi juleen, it's nice to talk with you. :))My name is TashTake your time my dream just felt strange the first time and when the attack drones broke the dream house you could say I told myself to wake up before it fell to the ground but like 4 minutes before that me and the other man had also woke up and reset back to our bedsIt felt like I was actually being targeted I got shot and their was ash on my gloved hand but I didn’t feel fire but I woke myself up before I fell like I grabbed a bomb launched in the house and tried to throw it out it felt out and starched its self to the top and I was getting shot at through the window the other direction i started going down then I felt wake eeupppI think I’ll be find I don’t want to get attacked next time I fall asleep I become dissociative when stressed and when I have a panic or anxiety attackBecause I only normally dream where I go to sleep twice or go to sleep really lateI’m just confused why did that guy get excecuted why was the base shaking why did I run down the stairs for my life why did we respawn in the beds why was it drones why explosives why a house on the ground why anythingI really don’t want my mother to start yelling but ik she’s about to

Hi Tash, it sounds like you probably have a LOT going in in your waking life that you aren't dealing with, and because of that it's using your dreams to try and get you to address it. But you can't do that by focusing on the dream, you have to address what your dream is representing in your real life, which would be the same themes around fear, vulnerability, being attacked. You mentioned your mother and it sounds like she could be something you feel threatened by. It sounds like your mind has turned what you feel threatened by into an "evil entity" that you feel is trying to kill you, but really this is just a distraction. You have to be able to address what's going on in your waking life so it doesn't need to take to your dream state in order to get you to do something about it.

Thank you for that. I know we'll. It's very hard for me to address the problems my mind is clouded with problems I avoid and problems I struggle to find the answer too.

I think your mind is trying to use the smoke screen of a dream to get you to deal with things, but it's just going to be a distraction for what's going on in your real life if you focus on the dream instead of what's happening when you're awake.
