My ex and I broke up a couple weeks ago. She’s already

I suspected that she was messing around with her ex boyfriend while we were together. She said she wasn’t talking to him at all but come to find out she had been going to his house and hanging out with him. She says that they just hung out as friends and that nothing happened. She said the reason she lied about it was to keep the peace because she knew that I wouldn’t like it and she knew that I wouldn’t believe nothing happened. Well when I found out about this, I started calling her some very mean names. I know I was in the wrong for doing this. I was basically just saying anything I could think of that I thought would hurt her feelings the most because she hurt my feelings. Hindsight I know that this wasn’t the right thing to do. I should’ve just been the bigger person and either walk away if I didn’t believe her or just accept what she was saying was true if I wanted to stay with her. All of the insults and names I was calling her was done over text. Her sister ended up reading the texts between us and she told the rest of my girlfriends family about it. Now none of them like me and none of them would be supportive of her decision if she did decide to get back with me. So I have that working against me. I also have the damage my hateful words caused working against me as well. I hurt my exes feelings pretty bad. She says that she can’t get the things I said out of her head when she sees me. Now she’s super self conscious about her body around me and says she feels like I’m disgusted by the way she looks.
She says some of the things I said reminded her of how her ex husband. He was extremely verbally and physically abusive to her. She ended up having to get a DVO on him because the abuse kept escalating, especially after she left him.
Also, her best friend’s mother and aunt go to the same church that my mother goes to and that I went to as a kid. They told her that it was common knowledge that my father was a raging alcoholic and extremely abusive to my mom and that She needed to be careful because “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” so that’s another mark against me.
What makes this even more complicated is I really love this girl. I don’t want to start fresh with someone else. Her personality and mine mesh very well most of the time. We are into a lot of the same things. Her son and my son are close in age and they play very well with each other.
What can I do to get these people to think I deserve another chance with my ex? I should mention that prior to this argument. Everyone really liked me. I was always sure to open doors for her, I was good with her son (didn’t ever try to parent her child)
