VerifiedHi there! The effects of abuse - both emotional and physical - can be pretty long-lasting. Often times folks who were emotionally abused have trouble trusting new partners, feel the need to keep their walls up to avoid being hurt, and may hide things from their partners for fear of “getting in trouble.” Alternatively, people who have been emotionally abused may rush too quickly into new relationships and get very attached and clingy, because the emotional abuse made them believe that they can’t do anything for themselves and are reliant on others. This can last for quite some time, and through multiple relationships. If you’ve been emotionally abused, I would advise that you look into therapy to help you understand that the abuse wasn’t your fault, and that the things your abusice partner said and did to you were untrue and wrong, and to help you learn how to have a healthy relationship in the future.

Understandable :) all guys she has dated has cheated on her sadly besides Me. We were in 6 month relationship & she try talking to another guy sending him pictures & telling him she can’t do this with me anymore even though I done nothing wrong for her wanting to leave. For admits depression & she doesn’t know what she wants anymore & lost feelings for majority of things . Right now she doesn’t talk to me at all & ignores me .
That’s tough, but you can’t make her love herself or help herself. Your best bet I think is to just wish her the best and try to move on with your own life. It may be helpful to unfriend her on social media so you don’t have to continue to be reminded of her or see what she’s up to.
