Hi jen, The girl no one...

Hi jen,
The girl no one likes came late and left early, her daughter drove her. Of course I felt bad and called her and chatted with her on the way home.
Sue, my friend didn't see us come in together which is good. I went to hug Sue and she wasn't prepared and her head was down so I felt dumb. Later girls were walking out and talking but she walked back in the door to talk to others last minute. I felt she wasn't as warm with me as before although it was a public event. Still feeling bad that she might still feel bad, I texted her today and told her I was going to tell her a funny story last night about the date the other night at a restaurant she recommended.
I'm so glad she didn't see me walk in with the other girl yet, even though she invited me to a concert the other night last minute, I still thinking she may still feel upset about the day I invited the girl no one likes to the other event. I did apologize either I'm too worried or I fractured our friendship or both. Thanks Dee

I understand that you worry about these types of things but nothing is wrong and nor would I give someone else so much power over the friendship. you are allowed to invite anyone you want to you did the right thing last night by going alone and just take care of yourself.If she would be that fragile over things that would be telling for you as well. focus on you and your growth and don't give anyone else so much power.

I do this because I care so much about my new friendships and she has always been good to me. I do not think she is fragile. I guess this is more about me.For the past 6 months she has been a great friend inviting me everywhere. She is the organizer in the groupI guess I'm the fragile one8 months actually

Thank you Jen. I'm sensitive lately with the situation with my oldest son. We are meeting for Dinner tonight. I did a lot of crying over it.
