I have a severe procrastination problem.Keep postponing jobs that really need to be done. Postponing costs me a lot more time then doing the job itself.

What are effective therapies for this?
Hello and thank you for consulting JA,
Underneath procrastination is often anger. It can be a passive aggressive expression of anger. There is not a specific therapy but you can ask your GP for a referral to a mental health therapist to work on this. First the underlying anger would need to be processed. Then, the therapist can be someone to be accountable to: you decide on a goal and therapist coaches you to complete the goal.

There are also life coaches who help with this kind of thing. If you search for Life Coach and your closest large city, you will find some resources. If all you get is a school for becoming a life them for a referral.

I hope some of these thoughts will be helpful to you.
Warm regards
