Have Relationship Questions? Ask a Counselor for Answers ASAP
That's a tough question. Most people try to put their best face forward when they meet someone new, and show their really self as time goes by.
One of the things I suggest when dating is, pay attention to how they act the first time you have a disagreement. If they are willing to talk things out and compromise, that's a good sign. If they get mad and call you names, expect to be called names every day when the relationship gets a little older.
So there really is no other way aside from trying to get to know the person better? There is nothing quicker and easier?
One of the mistakes a lot of women make is when a guy shows a bad temper, drinks too much, talks badly to them, they make excuses for him.
From the beginning of the relationship, take those things seriously. Do say, "oh he was stressed", or "he only did that because he had too much to drink this time."
Would you consider way too over the top flattery and silence when any Christian should have said amen 2 types of suspicious behavior?
Thank you very much.
You completely welcome.
