If someone is recieving ssi benefits and they pass, are the parents intitle to anything?

SSI benefits are only payable to the person while they're alive, and they continue to qualify. The parents would not be entitled to anything from the SSI the child was receiving, but may qualify for a 'death benefit' from the Social Security Administration.

Hello again, and you're most welcome.

If you could supply more information, that would also be helpful, like was the person receiving SSI, a minor child or an adult?

Was the person receiving SSI, handicapped and/or living in the home with the parents, or living elsewhere?

Are you one of the parents of the child who passed?

Thanks for all your additional information.
