Have a HD Sony TV. Just installed Roku streaming stick. Works fine but screen has become relatively dark compared to previous use without Roku.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any HDMI cables or A/V jacks (red, yellow, and white cables) plugged into your Sony TV?

Yes A/V jacks from previous use.

Here it is

While you are playing the stick open the tv`s menu then go in the picture menu and adjust the bright or preset modes to your liking

That will not affect the other inputs like cable box for example , each input can be set to their own settings in modern tv`s without affecting the other settings
