JA: What's the make/model number of your device? How old is it?
Customer: ROKU 2 XS model no. 3100R serial no. 13C29PO309052 it is about 4 years old
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: this was just given to me by mother, Mary Reilly
JA: Anything else you want the Video Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: just need code to come on tv to put into computer

- Do you see a tiny hole just above the DC-IN jack on rear of unit labeled as Reset?

OK, push the reset button underneath with a pointed object to restore Roku to default settings then you will see the activation code on screen during setup.

Do you get Roku initial setup screen?

Good, please go through those options and you will get activagtion code on screen as well.

Should have an account with Roku.com then put that activation code on https://my.roku.com/link link to activate the Roku device to your account

ok it see to me that your roku is activated. When you went through the process where did you stop? Did it required you to activate the roku? Did you see the activation process on the screen telling you to go online to activate your roku?
