I cannot connect to netflix. I have gone through many steps

Customer Question

I cannot connect to netflix. I have gone through many steps with netflix support but to no avail. They suggested I get help from you for more comprehensive analysis!
JA: What's the make/model number of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Model 2710X. Purchased several years ago.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It's just been about a week I have not been able to get on. Nothing happened, just tried to connect and I get the error message "internal error". I was on almost everyday before that.
JA: Anything else you want the video expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have been through all the reboot steps with router and Roku but nothing has worked so far.

Hi welcome to just answer,

I will be helping you with your roku problem.

I would like to know more about your other apps, are they working?

Have you tried to log on netflix on your computer? Is it working there?

Expert:  electronicsguy replied 2 months ago.

I would suggest you do the following to reset your roku. Disconnect it from the tv, power off your wifi router, disconnect it and let it sit for 5 minutes. Power of tv and power it on without roku being connected.
Then power on the router and later tv with roku.
