I have a 4 year old Blu Ray player with computer hardwired

Customer Question

I have a 4 year old Blu Ray player with computer hardwired to the back for Netflix and Amazon. The Disk operation is fine, but I'm having increasing problems connecting to Netflix and Amazon. I have to make several attempts before either will connect and when it does, it takes a very long time. Any ideas ( i have tried unplugging it several times)?
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have Amazon fire stick on another tv and it works fine along with the my PC.

Who is your Internet service provider?

Have you ever tested your connection speed?

It looks like your Internet service provider connection speed is the problem here.

Here is a link that shows your connection speed requirements.

You need 5.0 Mbs to get the quality signal.

My suggestion is to talk to your service provider to up the connection speed of your line in order for it to work properly.
