Customer Question

I have panasonic dvd recorder model dmr-es30v. I would like to order a replacement power module for this unit. I do not have a service manual to obtain the proper part number. Can I obtain such a manual? The power supply has a number on the card of L11102.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Panasonic DMR-ES30V I do not know the exact age. Perhaps 2005.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I was able to trace the failure to the power supply.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Don't know.

Hi and welcome to JustAnswer, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Bear with me as I review your concern.

Expert:  Louie replied 4 months ago.

Initially, would the Part Number for the main power supply board serve your need?

...or rather, an electronic copy of the Service Manual is preferred?

What ever gets me a new power supply module.
Expert:  Louie replied 4 months ago.

Sorry but I can only provide information on the Part Number or an electronic copy of the Service Manual for a token fee.

Sourcing the actual (new) power supply replacement board may be a challenge as most online sellers list this as NLA (no-longer-available). This being so, the prescribed approach then is component level repair.

Please post back how you would want to approach this and/or should additional information be needed.
