JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: A few weeks
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It does not play anything and will not eject a tape or dvd

I am getting an F60 Error on my Panassonic DMR-EZ4385v
It will not eject a tape or DVD so you cannot puta DVD in to play.
YOU can put tape in but you cannot playAlso have a 360i I need to up date my firmware for my recorder
I ask this of you 10 may 2012 but never got a answer.

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

The F60 error is a severe error indication, which usually means the main circuit board in the device has gone bad; sometimes it's merely a few bad components, though.

A voltage was detected as missing from the PCB, and the device needless to say cannot initialize.

But first try unplugging the device from the power. Leave it that way for a while, then power it On again. When 0000s display, press the Power button for at least 10 seconds, then let it go. Then wait 20 seconds or more, and press the Power button again to reset the device.

Now turn it Off, for 3+ minutes. Then after that interval, turn it On again. How does that work out?
