I have mortgage loan agreement for $76,000 and interest rate of 5.5%. Agreement is written in a way that the 1st payment is on August 2009 with a payment amount of $1000 each month. And also, stated that the remaining balance should be due and owing on July 31, 2024. I have been paying $1000 each month between August 2009 and April 2017 with a final payment of $645 has been paid before May 2017. I have used mortgage loan calculator and showed me that I have paid whole loan but lender is insisting that there is a remaining balance of $15,777.
